OOTD Going out tonight...

Well, not strictly going out "tonight".. but a couple of outfits from a couple of nights out I've had recently..

Firstly, Thursday evening last week, we went out to an Open Mic night, where I could exercise my vocal chords and sing a few songs.. here's what I wore.

So the outfit above.. a very pretty blouse with pinky red roses on it, bought from a charity shop, teamed with a black linen skirt (which I also bought from a charity shop around 2 years ago (the blouse was £2.49, the skirt was around £3)

I decided on red accessories (apart from the belt as I don't have a red belt yet!), the roses necklace and bracelet was again, from a charity shop £2 for the pair. Shoes are Hush Puppies, and I paid £7.50 for them (which I think is quite a lot, but I know they would have set me back around £60 if I had bought them new!)

Close up, you can see the roses on the blouse and the
rose necklace.

I kept the make-up quite light, with my usual plummy tones for eyeshadow and a slick of eyeliner with a pinky red shimmery lipstick to finish it off!

All in all had a great night and felt very summery!

Friday night we went to see some friends who are in a band called String Fing, so I dressed a little more casually..

T-shirt is by Next and has lovely cut-outs on the shoulders (great for showing my tattoo off! I teamed this with some black stretch skinny jeans, also Next .. and yes, you guessed it, from the charity shop!!! On my feet (which you can't see) I have black cowboy boots.. I love cowboy boots and have 2 pairs, which I don't wear often enough at all!!

Accessories, I went with an "old gold" look, with a leaf statement necklace and some great statement earrings from Primark (bought in the sale for £1!!) I love these earrings, simply divine, though a tad heavy.

That's all from me for the moment... No doubt I'll post something else soon.

  1. Cute outfit; however, try flipping you ends upward. I think your hair style is aging.
